Be Careful if You Want to Use KLD Visas
What do you do or say when you notice that immigration companies are possible scams and have become too lazy to cover their tracks or attempt to look legitimate? One of these lazy immigration agencies is KLD Visas.
KLD Visas is a newly established immigration agency based in Cape Town, South Africa which promises to help with your immigration and relocation needs to Canada, South Africa, Australia and the UK.
Why do we say that they might be a scam? Let us start with the fact that if you are a qualified and certified immigration company, you should know the ins and outs of every visa program to Canada. According to the KLD Visas website, the company only deals with the Skilled Worker Visa Program. There is no mention of all the other visa programs to Canada.
What about all the other visa programs? Surely all the qualified immigration consultants that the company employed can’t only know about this one visa program.
And if that is not enough, there is no indication of who the so-called qualified immigration consultants are. We do not know if they are qualified to assist with immigration to Canada, Australia, UK or even South Africa.
Fake Agent details
The website gives us an Australian Agent Number but no corresponding name. Upon further research, we could not find this agent on the Australian Government page. Unfortunately, the fact that these agent numbers are publicly visible means that it is possible for scammers like KLD Visas to steal a number and pass it off as their own. These details are publicly visible so that people can check for themselves to see if immigration agents are truly qualified and registered with their respective governments.
Well, KLD Visas does the same thing. The logos at the bottom of the website are the Australian Government logo and the South African government logo. But what about the other two countries – Canada and the UK? Don’t they get logos too, since the immigration company helps with visas to these countries as well?
Both logos on the website are blurry and cut-off, almost as if they were Googled then copied and pasted onto the website.
The websites theme seems to be copy and paste as most of the images and logos are blurry and stretched out.
Contact Us Page:
The KLD Visas Company states on the website that it is based in Cape Town, South Africa but it does not provide an address for the company. Furthermore, the company uses a private cell phone number as the company number. Apparently they’ve been in operation since 2013, but they can’t afford to get a landline?
Social Media and Content:
The company has a small social media presence on Facebook, twitter, Google plus, and more. There is a blog on the website, which looks like is updated regularly, although the images on the blog are again – blurry and this time stretched out to try and fit into the image space.
The immigration company does not have any testimonials or reviews online, which is understandable as it is relatively new, but there are three testimonials on the website, and all three of these testimonials praise the company for its outstanding services and work.
