Everything That You Need Under One Roof

Y-Axis is an Indian immigration, education and careers consulting company that was founded in 1999 by Xavier Augustin who is also the CEO of the company. On the website Y-Axis states that they were once known as the H-1B company (see below). We aren’t clear why they opted to change their name but we do know that they were originally a recruitment agency for internationals.

The CEO, Xavier Augustin, speaks about Indians being in high demand and that they are the world’s raw material for today’s modern economy. Y-Axis claims to have helped over 100 000 people since the beginning of their business and they have offices across India, in the UK, Melbourne and New Zealand. How they have helped these individuals without any evidence of an active RCIC agent is worth questioning.

Y-Axis claims to work with accredited and regulated lawyers in their London office and their partner offices in Australia and New Zealand. They also state on the website that no other company understands overseas careers like they do.

The Website

The website for Y-Axis is professional looking and contains a great deal of information for you to look through. One thing that we can fault the website on is that is very cluttered and there is so much going on on each page. We are very happy to say that Y-Axis has all their important online documents; privacy policy, refund policy and a terms and conditions.

Y-Axis will help you find a job, immigrate, get you a travel visa, you name it, they claim to do it. This is all good and well but who does their immigration processes for all of these countries? Are these individuals regulated by the appropriate boards and councils? There are no immigration seals displayed anywhere on the website and the only name that is provided is that of the CEO.

This is worrying as it is a vital piece of information for any immigration company to have. We had a chat with a consultant but even he was unable to answer any of our questions regarding Y-Axis’ RCIC agents or any immigration consultants.

There are online assessments for you to fill out and check your eligibility for each country and they ask pretty basic questions. On Y-Axis’ Products page, it gives you the option to do a job search for the following countries:

  • Australia
  • Austria
  • Migrants to Canada
  • Canadian job search
  • Dubai
  • Ireland
  • Singapore
  • Students in the UK looking for jobs
  • South Africa
  • UK
  • USA

And that is the short list of “products” that Y-Axis provides you.

Y-Axis also claims to have produced a product that simplifies the job search process. They do not mention what this product is or how it simplifies the process but apparently it will help them find you the best job.

Social Media

Y-Axis has just about every social media link from their website; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Google +.

The Facebook account for Y-Axis was created in 2009 and it has over 120 000 likes on the page. The page has regular posts and they all have to do with immigration, news on immigration and basic advertising of the company and their services.

The Twitter account follows the same pattern as the Facebook page, however the following is not as good. The LinkedIn account has over 6000 connections and it has the same articles that are posted on the website.

There is a YouTube account for Y-Axis and it is full of videos that update you on each country’s immigration laws. There are also video testimonials from previous clients. The first video on the YouTube account that we looked at had a lot of information about Canada’s new immigration laws and applications but it was uploaded four months ago.

Our Conclusion
Y-Axis has a great deal to offer any prospective client that is looking to immigrate, study somewhere or find a job. One thing that is a serious issue for us is that there are no immigration consultants mentioned on the website or an RCIC agent. We did an RCIC agent search with the company name and we came up empty handed.Y-Axis has a great deal of services and there are client testimonials provided for you to look through but they lack the vital accreditation.

If you have dealt with Y-Axis please leave a comment below and tell us about your experience.
