Our Nanda & Associate Lawyers review goes to the heart of this acclaimed immigration and legal firm. The company certainly dazzles their audience with celebrity endorsements, music events and more. But when it comes to immigration, can they deliver the professional services they claim to offer? Find out in our comprehensive review.

About Nanda & Associate Lawyers

The company was established in 2003 by Jagmohan Singh Nanda. They have five founding principles they claim to adhere to, these are professional certification, integrity, vast experience, personal attention and comprehensive legal representation. We took a closer look at each of these claims to clearly understand what the company means by them.

Nanda & Associate Lawyers

Professionally Certified

The lawyers and attorneys, who make up their team, are apparently all certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada. They also have one Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in their employment, Vasim Shaikh. We double checked his number, #R418903, with the ICCRC’s (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council) registry and found that he is indeed on their list.

This is great news because only certified lawyers and regulated consultants are legally allowed to charge for immigration services. It seems like Nanda & Associate Lawyers is in line with the law here.

The only thing we found to be quite strange is that Vasim is not listed under the company name on the registry instead, he is connected to a company called Transglobe Consultant Services. Though it is odd, it is perhaps only an oversight error so it shouldn’t be a cause of concern.

Vast Experience

Having opened their doors in 2003, the company has well over 15 years of experience, which is pretty impressive. However, the company makes a weird claim that they together have over 100 years of experience. What is the point of saying that? The figure 100 certainly inspires awe, but does adding your team’s experience together really make for a more experienced team? I don’t think so. It’s just a marketing gimmick made to impress potential customers.

Nanda & Associate Lawyers states that integrity is central to everything they do. They refer to maintaining a strong code of ethics and legal and professional integrity in all spheres.

Personalized Attention

We found this point rather interesting. The company goes to great lengths to provide personalized services to all their clients, for instance, by offering their services in the following languages:

  • Cantonese;
  • Mandarin;
  • Hindi;
  • Punjabi;
  • Urdu;
  • Gujarati;
  • French;
  • Italian;
  • Polish;
  • Russian; and
  • Ukrainian

Comprehensive Legal Representation

The list of services the company provides is nearly endless. They cover nearly every single Canadian immigration program except for Provincial Nomination Programs. Apart from providing assistance with the application of these, they also offer services in Refusals, Appeals, Deportation, Detention Reviews and so much more.

A stand out feature we enjoyed is their free consultations. It seems as if you can book a free immigration consultation with an immigration lawyer once you sign up for their services. Lawyer fees are typically very expensive so we were quite shocked by this.

The company could also do with some more detailed information on the various Canadian immigration programs. Each route has a corresponding link for more information, which is great, but it only scratches the surface of the complexities of immigration.

Again, Nanda & Associate Lawyers, continues to impress. On their blog section, they frequently post relevant content about Canadian immigration and other legal issues their clients may find of use. The only problem we picked up is some pretty lazy plagiarism.

Some articles are direct copies from another news source, CIC. They even copied over call-to-actions that redirect to another immigration company sign up sheets. We were quite shocked by this lazy and, quite frankly, illegal practice. As lawyers, they should know more about intellectual property and plagiarism. When we noticed this, it really soured our Nanda & Associate Lawyers review. Shame on them.

Videos and Testimonials

Like many companies, Nanda & Associate Lawyers have a dedicated testimonials page on their website. Here you will find many positive statements about the company, some are even video messages. Remember to take these lightly, because companies will only include the good, they will never share the bad.

The company also has a ton of promotional videos on their website. Some of them are even endorsed by Indian celebrities. We have never seen law firm or immigration agency use actresses to promote their services. We found it quite dramatic to say the least.

Social Media and Reviews

The company has two Facebook accounts, one for their Indian office and the other is for their Canadian office in Mississauga. Both of these accounts are quite active, the former has a following of 12,945 and the latter has 4,842.

Apart from posting about Canadian immigration and law, they also sometimes share some events that they are hosting, like music concerts. This is the first time we’ve seen an immigration consultancy host activities like this.

On their Twitter, you will find much of the same. They regularly tweet similar content to their Facebook for their 541 followers.

Seeing as we were quite impressed with Nanda & Associate Lawyers we checked other online reviews about them. We can confidently say that they have a great reputation on the internet. On Google Reviews, they have an average score of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 165 reviews. People really sing the praises of this company and it seems that they have helped quite a number of people with their immigration to Canada.

The End of Our Nanda & Associate Lawyers Review

Overall, we were left rather impressed by the company. They are clearly up to date with Canadian immigration news and they continually demonstrate their advanced knowledge of the processes throughout their website

We are happy that they employ an actual RCIC and we firmly believe that the rest of their team is actually made up of certified lawyers. Their free consultations definitely stand out as one of their best features.

Our greatest disappointment came with the plagiarized content on their blog section. We can hardly believe that a company of lawyers made such a big mistake. It really casts doubt on the legalities of the rest of the company. This is an area we highly recommend they rectify as soon as possible.

If you want to use their services you will probably get what you paid for. If you are not convinced by them, please have a look at our other top reviews here. Comment below if you have had any experience with Nanda & Associate Lawyers.
