ICL began as Nikim Consultancy but had a name change in 2011 to Immigration Consultancies Limited (ICL). ICL is an immigration consultancy service provider, offering clients “honest and realistic” advice and options not only throughout their application process but ongoing support thereafter. The company specialises in immigration to New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, though we could not find any of their accreditations first hand, so let’s do a bit more digging.
The Website & Services
Though the website is beautifully presented, we cannot seem to move passed the fact that we cannot find any of their accreditations such as the ICCRC (Immigration Consultants if Canada Regulatory Council) or the MARA (Migration Agents Registration Authority) on their actual website. Moving away from that, the website seems to be informative in the best “web etiquette” way. Pages are concise and to the point but still lacking depth.
Social Media & Online Review
ICL has both Facebook and Twitter pages. Their Facebook page seems to be semi-active as it was updated this year, however, interaction with followers seems non-existent. ICL’s Twitter page on the other hand only has 4 tweets and a very small following. None of these tweets contain hyperlinks to their website so self-promotion isn’t of high importance here.
Social media isn’t compulsory and is not an absolute must have but if you do decide to indulge, keep up with the trends, be active and create traffic to your website and company as a whole. This isn’t a concept ICL has grasped yet. Their online presence has plenty of room for improvement.
We cannot say with great confidence that Immigration Consultancies Limited is credible or that the company can be trusted, as none of their accreditations are in plain sight. A consultancy who has an RCIC member on board is always highly recommended, which to our findings ICL does not have.
