Icon Canadian Immigration

Icon Canadian Immigration is a Canadian and US immigration company situated in North Vancouver with a second office in Tehran. The CEO of the company, Alireza Boroumand, is an RCIC agent (R506310) that is recognised and registered with the ICCRC. His RCIC number is not listed on the website.

There is a very short bio for Alireza on the website but it does indicate that Alireza has a Ph.D., in what we are not sure. The website also states that Alireza has a legal background and has been dealing in immigration since 2007.

The Website

The website for Icon Canadian Immigration is very basic and provides you with a very limited amount of information. Alireza Boroumand has failed to provide his clients with any important online documentation like a privacy policy, refund policy or a terms and conditions.

There is information with regards to Canadian and Quebec immigration programs but, once again it is very limited. The information on the US immigration programs is equally as limited and provides you with the very basic and vague information.

Under the Services page on the Icon Canadian Immigration website, there is a list of services that this company will provide you, like:

  • All US immigration and visa related issues
  • Canada and Quebec immigration programs
  • Provincial Nominee programs for all 10 provinces of Canada
  • Performing all Investment related issues concerning immigration
  • Renewal and obtaining PR Card
  • Applying for citizenship
  • Passport of the Islands for business people
  • Commissionaire of oath for British Columbia

Icon Canadian Immigration also claim to help people with their island passports for St. Kitts & Nevis, Antigua & Barbuda and Grenada Islands. We are unsure how Alireza Boroumand is qualified to help clients with all of these passports and visas.

Something that we found a bit odd is that the homepage for Icon Canadian Immigration is that there is no content on it, just a slider with images. There is also no contact information for Icon Canadian Immigration or Alireza Boroumand, which is peculiar.

The website also offers two language options, English and Persian.

Social Media

There is a link to a Facebook account for Icon Canadian Immigration’s Facebook page. The account has just over 700 likes and the last post is from the 18th of September. The posts are all in Persian but they are relevant to Canadian immigration with a few posts about US immigration.

We also found a personal LinkedIn account for Alireza but it contains very basic information that can also be found on the website.

When searching for Icon Canadian Immigration on Twitter, we found an interesting article about Alireza Boroumand that was posted by Ashton College. This article provides some interesting background information to Alireza that is not on the website.

Our Conclusion

Icon Canadian Immigration is a legitimate Canadian immigration company and according to the article that we found on Alireza Boroumand, he has helped a number of people immigrate to Canada.

We do feel that there can be improvements made to the Icon Canadian Immigration website that would give the company a better presence in such a saturated market.
