The Website

The website for Holthe Tilleman is very professional looking and it provides you with helpful information. But there is no privacy policy, refund policy or a terms and conditions.

Holthe Tilleman provides you with the choice to listen to their podcasts. We found some of the podcasts on YouTube and they were interesting to listen to. You can subscribe to their podcast via the Apple App Store. There are also blog articles that you can read but the last one was posted on the 19th of August. The one before this was on the 21st of March.

When we looked at the different visa options that Holthe Tilleman offers you, we were redirected to the CIC website. We felt that this was a little impersonal and lazy. If we wanted to read the CIC’s website we would have visited it.

There is a fee structure that Holthe Tilleman works with and it shows that you will be according to what your case requirements are. this is normally the case with law firms.

There is one video available on the website and it has a few previous clients giving their testimonials. The videos are interesting to watch and not very long and drawn out like some can be.

What we found quite peculiar is that the website was only created in December 2014. It may be a new website for Holthe Tilleman.

Social Media

There are no social media links from the website but there are options to share the website’s links. The Facebook page has 1460 likes and it as created in 2011. The posts on the Facebook are quite regular but there isn’t much traffic through the page. The Twitter account that we found was for Mark Holthe and he joined in 2010. Mark has 300 followers and his posts are related to Canada and immigration. We found a LinkedIn profile for Mark Holthe and it has the same information as the website.

Overall

Holthe Tilleman does seem like a legitimate law firm but what we couldn’t understand is why the only person spoken about on the website is Mark Holthe. We feel as though the law firm’s image is based on what Mark has done and what he says.mark-holthe

There are personal and impersonal aspects of the website and we feel that there could be some improvements made.

If you have dealt with Holthe Tilleman please leave a comment in our comments section below, we would love to hear from you.

I’ve only so far checked out Mark’s imm podcast series. I’ll comment on that. It offers valuable tips and insights for nuances into CDN imm. From what I understand from one of the episodes, he does not offer consultations, or maybe free consultations, either one of those. I think those podcasts are a great resource for the industry, and being an ex-IO, he can offer insights into IRCC nuances to help people navigate through complex IMM applications. Great work on the podcasts, very happy to seem them blossoming with great guest speakers now!

I contacted Mr. Holthe to discuss my peculiar situation. It was a pleasure speaking to him. I was very comfortable discussing my case with him. He provided me with very useful and valuable advice. He went above and beyond to do some additional research on my case. I would highly recommend him and will contact him for any future needs.
