About CanDo Canadian Immigration Services
CanDo Canadian Immigration Services are both an immigration service and a company that manages business investing in Canadian companies. They are based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada and offer their services to people hoping to work, learn, visit, or invest in Canadian business.
I.A. (Marshall) Dowla is the founder and owner of CanDo Canadian Immigration Services. Marshall Dowla says that his company has over 20 years of experience, but doesn’t say what year CanDo was first established. The About Us page says that Jamie Dowal, the Vice President, is in charge of the immigration side of the business. It states that he is a RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant). However, Mr. Dowal’s Consultant Identification number is not given on the website, and there are no results when checked against the ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council) registry.
Website and Services
The website of CanDo Canadian Immigration Services is not especially different from other websites. There are clear links to certain page information, but the data is not highly detailed in a few of the articles. There are no additional sources or internal links in these pages. CanDo also has a few grammatical errors in their work, but the content is still readable. Also, CanDo does not mention any affiliate immigration sites or organizations that they may be linked to, but it does mention that Marshal Dowal has been associated with businesses like the Canadian Economic Development Corporation and Thorne Riddell Chartered Accountants.
CanDo say they offer the following assistance in:
- Skilled Worker Program
- Skilled Trades Program
- Provincial Nomination Program
- Express Entry
- Canadian Experience Class
- Business Immigrant and investor programs
- And student study visas
CanDo does give the basic information on how to apply for these programs or visa but does not go into great detail with some of the required parts of the application process. The website also has a blog, but its last post was in October in 2016, and this has not been updated.
Social Media and Reviews
CanDo has a Twitter and Facebook presence on social media. Their Facebook account has more recent posts than their web page, and a low number of likes at only 221. Therefore CanDo does not seem to be as well know as many other immigration sites. Their Twitter account has not been active since 2012, and with only 21 followers, CanDo apparently does not have a very strong presence on social media.
There does not appear to be many reviews written on CanDo, with only one Facebook review and six Google reviews.
The few ratings that are found do have positive scores for CanDo as a reliable service, but personal opinions may not be the most reliable sources to consult as a user.
CanDo seems to be an average site. Although we were unable to confirm their ICCRC member as being a registered immigrant consultant, which does affect their credibility as a business. We cannot elaborate further on whether the site is trustworthy enough, due to the lack of information that CanDo provided on their site.
