Bell Alliance – Lawyers, Notaries and Immigration Consultants
Bell Alliance is a law firm that has a personal approach to law. Heather and Richard Bell launched the firm in 2011 and after three years of success they integrated Bell Alliance Lawyers and Notaries in 2015.
The company deals with different factions of law:
- Real Estate
- Estate Planning
Heather Bell is a registered RCIC consultant in good standing with the ICCRC, her RCIC number however was not listed on the website which we found strange. Her RCIC number is R507125. Jennifer Hunter is another RCIC consultant at the firm and like Heather, her RCIC number was not listed on the website. Jennifer’s RCIC number is R510522.
Bell Alliance consists of lawyers, paralegals, notaries and consultants and they claim to practice “Happy Law” as they want your journey and experience to be a happy one.
The website for Bell Alliance is very professional looking and easy to use. They have provided you with a great deal of information about the various immigration processes. It is however easy to confuse the idea that you will be dealing with an immigration lawyer and not a consultant. Heather Bell and Jennifer Hunter are immigration consultants, not lawyers.
There are client testimonials that you can read through on the homepage of Bell Alliance. We feel that these testimonials can be easily missed and they could have been made more visible. The names at the bottom of the testimonials are only first names and there are no dates provided.
My Wife and I have recently been through the process of applying for my Permanent Residency in Canada via Spousal Sponsorship…We found Heather Bell after searching through and contacting a long list of registered immigration consultants, and our decision to go with her was the best choice we could have made…She guided us through the application process, questionnaires & evidence gathering step by step, very efficiently & professionally, and any questions or issues we had throughout the process were answered promptly…We have no doubt that she is a huge part of the reason that now, only a few months after submitting our application, I have my Permanent Residency in Canada, and the dream that my Wife and I have been working towards for such a long time, to be able to be TOGETHER has become a reality!

There are also Google reviews for Bell Alliance.
The firm does quite a lot more than just immigration and practice law, they also have Bell Alliance Studios that offer full-service video production. Is there anything that Bell Alliance doesn’t do?
There are social media links from the Bell Alliance website for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google +.
The Facebook page was created in 2011, it has 111 likes and the last post is from the 15th of October. The posts to the page are relevant to Bell Alliance and Canadian immigration but the posts are not very regular and there isn’t much traffic through the page. The Twitter account was created in 2009 and it has 332 followers. The posts are relevant to Bell Alliance and Canadian immigration but they aren’t regular.
The YouTube page has three videos that have been posted but the video that we found on Bell Alliance is not listed there. The videos are based around Richard Bell and seem to be focussed more on his involvement in the firm. Some diversity would be nice.
We do not believe that Bell Alliance is a scam but what we are worried about is the sheer volume of things that they deal with. We feel that they have tried to dip their hands into too many honey pots. Are they managing everything with ease and are they responsive to their clients?
The website was easy to use and Bell Alliance did provide us with all the necessary information. One fault with the website is the lack of a refund policy as this is a very important document.
Even though Bell Alliance has social media pages, they are not managed well and there is not much of a social presence. Some more effort could be put into their social media pages and they could generate more traffic through them.
