Can You Rely On BAL Immigration?
BAL Immigration Services Inc. is a Canadian immigration company that has been around for five years according to their website. BAL Immigration works with both clients in Canada and clients that are abroad. The company is supposedly run by RCIC agents that are recognised by the ICCRC and the CMI.
There are no names provided on the website but there is an ICCRC seal on the website with an RCIC number. The RCIC number (R407447) belongs to Kalvinder Bal, who we assume is the owner of the company.
As we have already mentioned there was an RCIC number provided for Kalvinder Bal but we did another search on the ICCRC’s website under the company’s name. We found two other RCIC agents listed there; Heather Bell (RCIC# R507125) and Sharon Gallant (RCIC# R422623). Sharon Gallant’s name has “Administrative Revocation” next to it and the reasons for this is that she hasn’t paid her dues or completed her PME course.
There is information on some of the Canadian visa applications like the Federal Skilled Workers visa, Family Sponsorship and Study in Canada. But the information is limited and tends to be vague and concentrates more on Canada and not the actual visa application requirements.
BAL Immigration also has a News page but there are only three articles posted all on the same day, the 16th of May 2014. We find it a bit strange that there have been no other news articles posted and that they were all posted on one day. When you try go into one of the news articles you can’t, they don’t open.
While going through the website we found something very interesting. BAL Immigration Services Inc. lists their processing times when applying for a Canadian visa of any sort. We are not sure whether they mean that this is the time it takes for them to process your application, or the time it takes to get your actual visa. Attaining your visa is determined by your personal case and situation.
There are social media links form the website for Facebook, Twitter and Vimeo.
When we clicked on the link for the Facebook page we were told that the page does not exist. We did some digging and we found two different Facebook pages for BAL Immigration. One of the accounts is a Public Group and the posts are not very regular but they are relevant to Canadian immigration.
The second account that we found for BAL Immigration is a Legal/Law group with just over 20 likes and the posts aren’t regular either.
While BAL Immigration Services Inc. has two recognised RCIC agents working at the company there are some problems that we found with the website. The lack of important online documentation is a big concern.
The other faults on the website like grammatical and spelling errors and pages that don’t work are easy fixes. The maintenance of their social media pages and news articles is lazy.
