Canadian Immigration and Refugee Law Firm
Azzi Law is a law firm that is situated in Ottawa with a satellite office in Ontario. The main lawyer at the firm is Bassam Azzi who has a civil law degree (LL.L) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. Bassam Azzi is recognised by the Law Society of Upper Canada and is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Nataly Azzi is the other lawyer at the firm and she graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Juris Doctor and is recognised by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Before Nataly joined the Azzi team, she worked for the Canadian government as a Law Clerk for the Honourable Justice Sean J. Harrington at the Federal Court where she worked on a wide range of immigration and refugee cases.
The website for Azzi Law is professional looking and it has all the information that is needed. The law firm practices Canadian immigration and refugee law as well as Crimmigration. Crimmigration law is the convergence of the Canadian criminal and immigration laws. This is the first time we have seen a Canadian law firm use the term Crimmigration.
The website for Azzi Law was only created in November of 2014 so it is just a year old. We have to assume then that this law firm is only a year old. Bassam Azzi was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012.
The law firm has three values that they work by; quality, reliability and accessibility. On the homepage for the website it is clearly stated that Azzi Law’s primary focus are their clients and their needs. On the Our Success page you can read through the Azzi Law testimonials from previous clients and you can see that they are all positive.
The website also has a blog and it is updated regularly with relevant articles that are interesting to read and diverse.
There are social media links from the website for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. The Facebook page was only created last year and it has over 700 likes. The posts to the Facebook account are relatively regular and they are relevant to Canadian immigration. The page does receive a decent amount of traffic from what we can see. There aren’t many comments on posts but they do receive a lot of likes. There are also a few Facebook reviews to read and they are all positive.
The Twitter account has been neglected and could do with some more attention. The account only has 22 followers and the posts are not regular at all. The posts however are relevant to Canadian immigration.
We feel that there could be more effort put into Azzi Law’s social media presence as it is often the first place that people look.
Azzi Law looks to be a legitimate Canadian immigration and refugee law firm that would be able to help you in all areas of your immigration process. It appears that the law firm is a new one and there are still a few improvements that can be made but that is generally the case with most companies.
Azzi Law is passionate about their work and their clients and we saw that straight away. If you have dealt with Azzi Law please leave a comment below and tell us about your experience, we would love to hear from you.
