Are you ready to drop everything, start over and go someplace new? Canada stands on the other side with arms wide open. This multicultural melting pot of a nation has just about the best global reputation out there.

 Life is great

Canada is known for its high ranking as one of the world’s best, in the quality of life. It is also among one of the safest countries on the planet, Canada’s crime rate is envied the world over. Studies show that the crime rate in Canada has been steady dropping for 11 years now, it is predicted that it will continue to drop in years to come. In fact, a 2013 police report shows that Canada crime rate is at its all-time lowest point since 1969. According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, “Canada performs exceptionally well in measures of well-being.”

Northern Lights

If this doesn’t have you completely sold as an absolute reason, we’d be more than willing to convince you some more. Canada offers some of the best spots for viewing the Northern Lights. We personally feel that witnessing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) should be on everyone’s bucket list. This natural phenomenon takes place when highly-charged electrons from solar wind collide with different atmospheric elements in the area, trust me it is a lot cooler than it sounds. The result? Beautiful neon green, glowing ribbons dancing across the northern sky.

“Stick with me and we’ll go places.”

Fun Fact, in Canada you’re allowed to personalize postage stamps and postcards. This is perfect since Canada welcomes hundreds of thousands of newcomers every year, and what a better way to communicate with loved ones than through postcards with your face plastered all over it.

Canada Welcomes All

Every year more than 250 000 immigrants are welcomed warmly into Canada. The Canadian government spends millions every year ensuring that newcomers are settled in. Canada has one of the best immigration systems in the world attracting, even more, hopefuls. This year “Move to Canada” reached its highest Google search level ever. We feel that economic wealth is an incredibly vital factor that contributes to Canada’s (immigration) reputation. With Canada being one of the most diverse nations in the world, it’s easy to fit in and settle.

Stay in School

Canada spends more on education than any other developed country in the world. Education is thus a top priority for the Canadian government and is extremely valued. Canada houses some of the best education institutions in the world – More than 90% of Canadian graduates find employment within less than 6 months. This too, aids to Canada’s booming economy.

So what do you say, out with the old in with the new? Canada awaits you.

Hi, I would like to respond and if you like, some feedback and tips on what to do.. I am a skilled worker (Master in physiotherapy) and my husband is skilled through courses, wich is common in the NL for ICT workers. Anyhow, we have got too less points for express entry, unless we get a job offer. Fair enough. Problem is, who is willing to hire a foreigner and invest in money/time/paperwork to do this… Nobody! Than there is the prov. nominee programm, wich also requieres a job. Than there is a starters entrepeneurs visa (I am an entrepeneur) but that requires funding or money to bring along (75.000 CP) So the express entry is very difficult. Read: impossible. I don’t know what to do. It feels weird though, ’cause I am skilled, there are plenty of physio jobs in Canada, also in ICT, but still it seems impossible at the moment for us to come and work! What should we do? ps. we have 3 children (7,10,12y).
